The term sauna originates from the Finnish language and means "wooden room".
The room is heated up to a temperature of between 80° and 90°C with a sauna oven.
In order to increase the humidity and the "felt temperature" in the sauna, water (enriched with ethereal oils) is poured on the hot stones on the sauna oven.
This process is called "infusion". |
