The idyllic mountain village of Sesto in Val Pusteria is a unique hiking paradise in summer and a famous cross-country and skiing area in winter

Sexten - The Three Peaks village

The charming village of Sexten (Italian: Sesto) lies 1370 m above sea level in a particularly imposing area of South Tyrol, in the Drei Zinnen Nature Park in the Sexten Dolomites.
In the summer, Sexten is a unique hiking and climbing destination with hiking routes and ridgeways, fixed rope and climbing routes of all difficulty levels. In the winter, it is a snow sports destination with a vast ski resort, cross-country ski runs, toboggan runs and cleared winter hiking routes.
Guests at the Bad Moos – Dolomites Spa Resort enjoy quick and easy access to the world of mountain adventures: the Bad Moos – Rotwand cable car passes right by the hotel, taking visitors up to the delights of the Rotwand meadow.

The village of Sexten, including Moos, has a population of around 2500. The village centre is easy to reach on foot, by public transport or by car.

Along with the villages of Innichen, Toblach, Niederdorf and Prags, Sexten is part of the Drei Zinnen Dolomites.
